Part Time Firefighters

The Mt. Healthy Fire Department will always accept applications for part time firefighters. All applicants must have a current EMT-B and Firefighter 1 certifications. If you are interested, you can pick up an application at the Mt. Healthy Fire Department at 7700 Perry Street during the business hours of 0800 to 1600 hrs. You may also obtain an application from our website employment link.

The City of Mt. Healthy is accepting applications for summertime work at the City Pool.
Completed applications should be dropped off at the City Building.
 

POLICE OFFICER

 The City of Mt. Healthy is accepting applications for full- and part-time police officer until Monday, May 19, 2008, until 4:30 pm.  You do not need to be OPOTA certified.

 Minimum requirements:

             21 years of age

             Valid Ohio driver’s license

             Earned a high school diploma or equivalent

             College degree preferred but not required

             Applicant claiming military credit must furnish DD214 under honorable conditions

 The examination will be given on Thursday, May 22, 2008, at 7:00 pm, Mt. Healthy High School, 2046 Adams Rd., Mt. Healthy, OH 45231

Must successfully pass written exam, background investigation, polygraph, medical and
 drug screening.

 Successful applicant will be sent to OPOTA (Ohio Police Officer Training Academy)
at the City’s expense.

 Study packets must be obtained from the Clerk’s Office at City Hall,
7700 Perry St., Mt. Healthy, OH 45231.

Documentation of the above must be submitted at the time the application form is submitted and no applications will be accepted without required documentation. Current application packets may be obtained from the City Clerk’s Office or downloaded from the website.
