Trash

Weekly household trash may consist of an unlimited number of regular size trash cans and/or plastic bags with a maximum capacity of 30 gallons each and shall not exceed 50 pounds of weight per container. Always use tight fitting lids, to avoid blowing trash and animal messes.

Yard waste may be set out with household waste. Branches and shrubs must be tied up in bundles no more than 4 feet in length and 2 feet in diameter and weighing no more than 75 pounds. Carpet and padding must also be cut up and rolled in lengths no longer than 4 feet, tied up and weighing no more than 75 pounds.

Put trash out the night before pickup. Mt. Healthy City Ordinance 50.02 (C) states that trash containers may be set out no earlier than 3:00 PM the day before pickup and containers cannot remain on sidewalks for more than 24 hours after pickup.

If you have large items (stoves, washers, furniture etc.) call Rumpke at 513-742-2900 two days in advance. Refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners and de-humidifiers must have CFCs removed prior to disposal with proper certificate attached. Contact Rumpke for proper instructions.
