Outdoor Warning Siren System Test

Siren

The Hamilton County Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency conducts regular tests of the Outdoor Warning Siren System. The outdoor warning sirens in Hamilton County are tested the first Wednesday of each month at Noon unless inclement weather is imminent. The final test date for 2023 is December 6. These sirens are not meant to be heard indoors, so Hamilton County residents should have multiple ways to be notified of severe weather alerts, such as a NOAA Weather Radio or trustworthy weather apps.  Alert Hamilton County is a quick and easy way to get more than 40 weather alerts sent straight to your phone or email inbox.  Sign up for Alert HC by visiting www.alerthc.org.
