Vision Statement

The City of Mt. Healthy strives to be a fiscally sound and stable city providing to all of its residents and businesses a safe, viable, and clean environment, complemented with an excellent quality of life. The city will plan, construct, and maintain public facilities and public works infrastructures to provide for the health, safety, and welfare of all its residents and businesses. The city will strive to foster an environment conducive to the ongoing viability of its business district, and the development and promotion of cultural, recreational, and educational opportunities for all of its residents, while continuing to place a high value on public safety. — Adopted by Mt. Form of Government

The City of Mt. Healthy has a Charter form of government, known as a “Mayor-Council-Manager Plan”. The powers of City government are distributed among the City, the electorate, the various elected and appointed officials, and the boards and commissions as provided under the provisions of the Charter.

As a resident of the City of Mt. Healthy you will have the opportunity to vote for representatives that hold the following positions: Mayor, City Council (seven are elected at large) and the President of Council. Length of Terms: Mayor: 4 years; City Council: staggered 4 years; President of Council: 4 years.

There is a Council meeting the first and third Tuesday of each month (except in June, July and August when meetings are held on the third Tuesday only) at 7:00 P.M. These meetings are held in the City Administration Building at 7700 Perry Street. Please come join and help shape the future of your community.
